Opting for the white coastline and guaranteed sunshine of Jamaica, Melissa and Clinton wed with sand between their toes and to the sounds of Jamaican music.
After a romantic proposal on their two year anniversary, over an beachfront dinner in Dominican Republic where the couple had taken a break from work. Following hours of research and speaking to family and friends, they decided to go for it and marry abroad, arriving at Jamaica as their chosen destination.
The pair stayed at the Half Moon resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica and the ceremony took place on the beach at the gazebo, yards from the beautiful blue sea. With the help of Half Moon resort who took care of almost everything, all the couple was left to arrange was their own wedding attire and rings.
Jamaican tradition dictates that after the cutting of the cake, it's necessary to pass the cake from one mouth to the other which the couple embraced whole-heartedly and, in keeping with the Jamaican theme, had a local band play Jamaican love songs on the beach throughout the evening.
